Some questions to keep in mind as you look for data and statistics:

• What is your research goal, and how will data and/or statistics support your work? 
• Are you looking for data or statistics? Remember the difference. 
• Who might have this information?
  • Could you locate this information in library databases, like Statista or one that has background information?
  • Or will you have to turn to other sources (government agencies, nonprofits, academic researchers, or the open web)?
