The VSCS Libraries

The VSCS Libraries provide access to a wide range of academic resources and services, including:

  • Library Website: libraries.vsc.edu
  • Course Guides: Available in each of your canvas courses under VSCS Libraries Resources
  • Physical Locations: Five libraries located in Castleton, Johnson, Lyndon, Randolph, and Williston. 

Access & Delivery

  • Free: All library resources and services are free.  
  • VSC Login: Use your VSC credentials to access online subscription resources
  • Mail Delivery: Print books can be mailed to your home or a CCV/VTSU location
  • Interlibrary loan: Materials not in the VSCS Libraries can be mailed or emailed to you

Discovery Search

Search multiple library resources at once, including:

  • Print books from the Koha catalog
  • Ebooks from EBSCO, O’Reilly, Gale, and other databases
  • Academic journal and newspaper articles
  • Streaming videos from Films on Demand and Kanopy
  • Databases such as Cochrane, O’Reilly, OER Commons, Statista, JSTOR, and more
