Your resume may be the single most important document you ever write. 

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, you will change jobs an average of 12 times during your lifetime. Even if you are not applying for a job right now, the ability to write a strong, targeted resume will allow you to meet life's, and the job market's, changing needs.

• Sample Functional Resume: When you are new to the workforce or are changing career fields, a functional resume might be right for you. In a functional resume, experience is grouped by skill rather than position. If you have no work experience, you may draw on skills learned in volunteer work, school, or extracurricular activities.
